Brentford Football Club welcomed dozens of supporters to the site of our new stadium at the start of the week. Last Monday, 19 March, a ground-breaking ceremony was held to mark the preparations for the start of construction on the new Brentford Community Stadium and enabling residential development. The development will deliver a 17,250-capacity stadium, due to be completed during the 2019/20 season, as well as homes and a new base for Brentford FC Community Sports Trust.
Representatives of Bees United, the Brentford FC Supporters Trust, were also present. As well as Donald Kerr and David Merritt, who represent Bees United on the Club Board of Directors, the Supporters Trust communications team were also present. They produced the following video for members that can be seen below.
