The partnership between Brentford FC and Fuller, Smith and Turner PLC was put to good use earlier this summer and the football staff were invited on a tour of the brewery. A two-year agreement was announced last summer for Fuller’s, the London brewer and premium pub company, to become an Official Club Partner of Brentford FC. And in celebration of the first year of the partnership, Brentford staff had a look around the Chiswick brewery to find out how their beer is produced and try a few samples.
The deal between Fuller's and Brentford sees London Pride continue to be available to supporters on matchday at Griffin Park and continues a long relationship between the two. Fuller’s and Brentford have a history that goes back more than a century, to when Fuller’s donated an apple orchard to the Club, which became our Griffin Park home in 1904 – the name being a nod to Fuller’s Griffin Brewery. Fuller’s is now Brentford’s Official Premium Ale Partner and staff got to see first hand how the beer was made.
The staff, including Head Coach Dean Smith, got to see what goes in to Fuller's ales and how brewing has changed over the years. There was also an opportunity to sample a range of products. A good day was had by all.
