B Team take on Three Peaks Challenge

Three mountains to climb in 24 hours for Brentford B

8 July 2018

The players and staff from Brentford’s B Team will take on the Three Peaks Challenge as part of their pre-season programme next week.

Kevin O’Connor and his squad travelled to Chester on Saturday for a three-day training camp before they take on the day-long mountain challenge this Tuesday, 10 July.

You can follow all of the action from the climb on Brentford B’s new Instagram account, dedicated to the work of the B Team at Griffin Park; @brentfordbteam.

The Three Peaks Challenge asks you to complete the climbs of the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within a 24-hour period. This week players from the B Team will lead the expeditions of Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales).

In total, the walking distance is around 44km, the full length of a marathon run, and the overall ascent is a total of 9,800 feet with Ben Nevis the highest peak of the three.

We have just created a new Instagram account to follow the progress of the B Team this season, which can be found by searching brentfordbteam on the social media platform. Go the Instagram page by clicking here.

It will display images and videos from the challenge as well as all of the action and reaction from the rest of this season’s games schedule and European tours.
