Recruiting and managing mentors for young people is one of the important roles played by Brentford FC Community Sports Trust. The Trust is always looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join their mentoring scheme for young people. Mentors get to be a positive role model to young people, and to support them in educational activities, estate sport sessions and training opportunities.
Mentors also help young people reduce their risk of offending or reoffending – ensuring they have the tools to achieve their life goals. Karmen Blake, Mentoring Manager at Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, looks after the mentors once they have signed up.
