Bees head to Germany today

Group preparing to depart for pre-season Training Camp

7 July 2018

Brentford's pre-season Training Camp in Germany begins this afternoon as Dean Smith looks to step up preparations ahead of the new Sky Bet Championship season.

The Bees will be spending a week in Bavaria before ending the Camp with a game against Karlsruher Sport-Club Mühlburg-Phönix e.V., on Saturday 14 July, which will be played at the home of ASV Grassau. The game will kick-off at 1pm local time. It is expected that fans will be able to pay on the day for the game next weekend. Full details of the friendly can be found here.

Summer signings Said Benrahma and Ezri Konsa will be among the players heading to south-east Germany this afternoon while the training camp will also give younger members of the squad, including Marcus Forss, a chance to impress ahead of the new campaign which gets underway against Rotherham United at Griffin Park on Saturday 4 August.

There will be full coverage of the camp, and the match against Karlsruher SC, across the Club's digital channels. Connect with us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to get closer to the action in Germany.
