The community engagement sessions run by Brentford Football Club Community Sports Trust resume this week. The Trust's Communities Engagement team delivers a wide range of youth inclusion projects that enable young people to participate in a diverse collection of sport and educational activities in parts of Ealing, Hounslow and Richmond. After a break for Christmas, those sessions start again this week.
Staff at the Trust are constantly addressing and adapting to the needs of local young people, allowing them to participate in activities they have requested on their doorstep. They support them to forge their own training and career pathways through enterprising behaviour and informed lifestyle decision-making within the fields of sport, youth and community work. They have key partners ranging from national organisations to more regional groups who support projects through funding, strategic guidance, in-kind support, help and advice.
Current ongoing projects include Premier League Kicks, StreetSports, which is supported by Hounslow Housing, and Be Inspired, which is funded by BBC Children in Need. Details on these projects can be seen on the Trust website. A full list of the sessions offered by the Trust can be seen here.
