Brentford B defenders Mads Bech Sørensen and Lukas Talbro have been called up for international duty. The pair will be part of the Denmark Under-19 squad for a friendly game at the end of the month. Denmark will travel to Spain for an Under-19 friendly against Scotland on Tuesday 27 February. The game will come ahead of three vital qualification matches next month.
Mads and Lukas will link up the squad on Monday 26 February. They will travel to Spain and will play Scotland the following day before returning to Brentford before the end of the week. The game will act as a warm-up for three qualification matches for the UEFA European Under-19 Championships to be played at the end of March.
Denmark topped a four-team group including Latvia, San Marino and Croatia in the first round of UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying matches in November. Next month they will host Austria, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina for the next stage of qualification. They four teams will play each other and the winner of the group will reach the finals of the competition, held in Finland in the summer.
Mads has been a mainstay for his national team and has played for Denmark at Under-18 and Under-19 level. He has played eight games at Under-19 level and has 15 caps for his country in total. Lukas has four Under-19 caps and has also played for his country at Under-18 and Under-16 level.
