Ollie Watkins wins Man of the Match award after Birmingham rout

Two-goal winger takes prize with Fuller's

21 February 2018

Ollie Watkins' performance in last night's 5-0 win over Birmingham City saw him win the Fanscore Man of the Match award, in association with Fuller's.

The 22-year-old netted his ninth of the season to open the scoring against Blues on the half-hour. Florian Jozefzoon added a second before the break with Neal Maupay then striking a quickfire double after the restart to wrap up the points. It was left to Ollie to put the icing on the cake with his second, and The Bees' fifth, late on.

Ollie's performance saw him earn 39 per cent of the votes on the Official Brentford FC app, ahead of Neal Maupay in second and Ryan Woods in third.

Last month saw the launch of an all-new predictor game on the Official Brentford FC club app. The new predictor, which can be accessed from the club app, asks fans to pick the result from all Sky Bet Championship games played over the weekend with points on offer for correct scoreds.
