More than 80 of the area's older residents were treated to a sumptuous three course meal at the Annual BFC Christmas Luncheon, held in The Hive, at Griffin Park, last Thursday. This event, now in its eighth season, was sponsored by the Brentford Lifeline Society.
After a Christmas Lunch of a turkey roast, Christmas pudding with custard, and finally festive mince pies and coffee was served, our guests played three games of Bingo, and sung a number of Christmas carols led by Peter Gilham. When it came the time for our guests to leave, everyone was given a Christmas goody bag of food by Father Christmas.
Our grateful thanks goes to the Brentford Lifeline Society for their Sponsorship, local businessman Vijay Chandras, Matchday Hospitality Guests, and the local stores of Marks and Spencer and Morrisons for their support of this event.
