Cliff Crown discusses London Irish deal

Brentford FC Chairman Cliff Crown gives his thoughts on the news London Irish RFC will play at Brentford Community Stadium from 2020

Brentford Football Club confirmed this morning that a historic deal had been agreed for London Irish to move back to the capital and join the Club at Brentford Community Stadium. The Exiles have been playing at Reading’s Madjeski Stadium for two decades but will make a return to West London to play their games at the Brentford Community Stadium when it opens in 2020. The stadium is currently under construction and is on course for completion in 2020. Brentford FC and London Irish RFC will play there from the 2020/21 season.

Brentford FC Chairman Cliff Crown has been involved in the negotiations to bring London Irish to Brentford and spoke about the deal. He updated fans on the potential working relationship between the clubs and how the building work is going. The video can be seen below.
