David Webb to take charge of today's trip to Bristol City

Match Officials confirmed for game at Ashton Gate

26 December 2018

Referee: David Webb

Assistant Referees: Mark Pottage and Adam Matthews

Fourth Official: Timothy Wood

David Webb joined the EFL list as an Assistant in 2006 before graduating to being the main man two years later. His first game in the top four divisions involved The Bees, as he took charge of our 1-0 defeat at Bury on the opening day of the 2008/09 season.

In total, the Lancashire official has taken charge of eight Brentford games, most recently our 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday back in August, which saw him award us a penalty for a foul on Lewis Macleod. Of those eight games, we have won three, drawn two, and lost three, with just ten yellow cards being shown along the way.

So far this term, the County Durham official has shown 43 yellow cards and one red card in 17 matches.

Bristol City 2018/19

245 fouls - 22nd in Sky Bet Championship

32 yellow cards - 20th in Sky Bet Championship

1 red card - 10th in Sky Bet Championship

Tickets for Wednesday's game are now off sale and we have been advised there will be no Pay on the Day at Ashton Gate.
