Kevin O'Connor and Brentford B face their last game of the 2018 Italian Tour, taking place in Switzerland. Travelling just across the border for a match at Stadio Comunale, the home of FC Chiasso.
The last two games have seen a win and a draw. The opening fixture saw Joe Hardy snatch a last-gasp winner in a 4-3 over Brescia in Coccaglio. Then Red Bull Salzburg U19s drew 2-2 with The Bees, Cole Dasilva and Hardy netting in Mezzolombardo.
Today, Simon Andersson is hoping to start in goal after missing out to Patrik Gunnarsson for the previous ties. Henrik Johansson is in contention for the first start of this season, following two sub appearances in Italy. Joe Hardy went three in three during his last tour, netting in all of the tour games, and looks to do the same again this afternoon.
Chiasso play their football in the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier of football in the country. Their most successful spell in football was their time in the top division during the 1950s, achieving as high as second place between 50-51. In the recent past, former Italian internationals Attilio Lombardo and Gianluca Zambrotta have managed the side.
