Andy Davies given Saturday's visit to Stoke City

Match Officials confirmed for game Bet 365 Stadium

8 August 2018

Referee: Andy Davies

Assistant RefereesDaniel Leach and Andrew Fox

Fourth Official: Robert Lewis

Andy Davies took charge of his first EFL games back in 2012 and stepped up to the Sky Bet Championship rotation with the Select Group 2 of referees in 2016.

The Bees are Davies most frequent assignment with the Hampshire official taking charge of 11 previous Brentford outings, which have produced six wins, four defeats, and one draw. Last season his three games ended in two wins and a draw for the men in red and white. After our 1-1 draw at home to Derby County in September, he took charge of a pair of victories, against Bolton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest, after Christmas.

Last weekend saw Davies show five yellow cards as Ipswich Town left it late to snatch an opening day point from their game against newly-promoted Blackburn Rovers.
