Brentford B midfield player Reece Cole has returned from his loan at Sky Bet League Two Yeovil Town.
The 20-year-old joined Yeovil before the start of the season and played two games for them, but Brentford and Yeovil have reached a mutual agreement that the spell should end and have cancelled it before the Loan Window closes next week. Reece is back training with Brentford B and played in the win over AFC Bournemouth U23 on Tuesday night.
Reece made his Yeovil debut on the first day of the season as they had two players sent off in a defeat to Bury. He also played in the Carabao Cup tie against Aston Villa last week. It was Reece's second loan spell as he spent part of last season at Newport County and played five games, scoring the winner on his debut against Coventry City.
Brentford FC Co-Director of Football Phil Giles said: "It is essential with any loan that our player has the opportunity to play, and preferably start, as many games as possible. When it appeared that Reece wouldn't be playing as much as we would wish, we reached an amicable solution with Yeovil for Reece to return to Brentford so he could train with us and potentially find another, better loan opportunity.
"Reece continues to have a fantastic attitude towards wanting to play games and we are pleased to see him back training with Brentford FC for now, albeit we'd have hoped for a successful loan with Yeovil."
