The Brentford FC Player of the Year Dinner 2018 will take place on the night of the final game of the Sky Bet Championship season. The Bees host Hull City on Sunday 6 May in a match that will kick-off at 12.30pm and it could be a vital one as Brentford push for a place in the Play-Offs. Later that evening the very best of Brentford’s 2017/18 season will be celebrated at the Player of the Year event.
This year the dinner – which will also include the presentation of the Club’s annual awards, including the Supporters’ Player of the Year – will be held at the Clayton Hotel Chiswick. Due to there being slightly less space than normal, there are fewer tickets available and these have been snapped up by those who attended last year and who registered their interest for future Club events. The waiting list for the event has also closed due to the numbers already on it.
Mark Devlin, Brentford FC Chief Executive, said: “This is always one of the highlights of the year and it is great to see fans mixing with players and staff. There have been some great celebrations in recent years and this could be the same. I hope it will be a night to remember.
“Unfortunately, our normal venue is not available on this date and with it being the last day of the season and the day before a Bank Holiday, it was the date that was key for us. I am sorry that this means fewer fans can attend but I am sure those in attendance will make the night special. The Club will also be filming everything that goes on so those that can’t be there can watch it back.”
If any more tickets or spaces on the waiting list become available, the Club will share this information via its website and social media channels. If you are interested in attending any future Brentford FC events please email Shinead Davis – email@example.com. The votes for some of the awards will also be starting this week, keep an eye on brentfordfc.com for more information.
