Join us for our Season Finale and support volunteers like Sharan

Secure your places for our game against Hull City when we will donate £1 to Brentford FC Community Sports Trust for every ticket you buy

25 April 2018

Our final Sky Bet Championship fixture is approaching and, following our great result over the weekend, this match could be a decider for The Bees as we are still in the chase for the top six. Next week’s game on Sunday 6 May will be an occasion to raise funds to sustain and grow The Trust’s health, community, education and disability projects. For this game, we will donate £1 to The Trust for every match ticket sold. With this in mind, we thought we would showcase some of their key projects.

Not many 17-year-old girls can say they have completed 300 hours of volunteering in one year. Yet Sharan Khroad, a football coach at Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, has done just that. She benefited from the Trust’s community coaching sessions back in 2014, which helped Sharan with her confidence, and inspired her to support other young people who need vital mentoring and guidance.

She said: “Building relationships within the community and motivating others to volunteer is a personal passion for me. "At first I was completely out of my comfort zone. Now, I successfully lead a team of volunteers and empower young girls to get involved with football.”

You could help girls like Sharan get involved with football. For the last of the game of the season, Brentford FC will donate £1 to the Trust for every match ticket sold.
