Brentford B winger Theo Archibald has been called-up to Scot Gemmill's Scotland Under-21 squad for two European Championship Qualifiers next month.
The Scots face The Auld Enemy at The Riverside Stadium on Friday 6 October, kick-off 7.45pm, before travelling to Liepaja to take on Latvia the following Tuesday, 10 October, kick-off 6pm. Scotland got their campaign off to a winning start earlier this month with a 2-0 victory over Holland, while England have taken four points from their opening two matches.
Theo earned his maiden Scotland Under-21 cap as a late substitute in that win over Holland, having previously been capped at Under-16 and Under-19 level. The 19-year-old joined The Bees from Celtic in May and made his first-team debut against Ipswich Town in August. Last week, Theo made his full Brentford debut against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup.
