Rico Henry was pleased with Brentford's performance against Bolton on Saturday. The Bees came away with a 3-0 win from The Macron Stadium and the fullback joined iFollow to discuss the game at full time.

"The gaffer told us before the game to take our chances, to score goals and stay tight at the back," said Rico. "That's what we did and it was a good three points. Definitely happy today, as I said Dean told us to keep it tight and we are happy to keep a clean sheet."

According to Rico, against a tall and commanding front pair, it was important that The Bees maintain a level head when things weren't going their way. He also mentioned their potential for switching play quickly.

"We knew as soon as their centre-backs got on the ball that they would try and switch it and look for the strikers. We dealth with it and got the three points in the end.

"Being our first win, we just need to take confidence going into Tuesday and hopefully get the win again. We believed in ourselves before the game today and we showed we can do it."

Asked whether or not the team owe the home fans a performance when they return to Griffin Park, Rico said: "It's always a joy to play in front of the home fans, hopefully they'll get on our side and we can get another three points. We try to win every game but it would be nice to win at Griffin Park on Tuesday definitely."
