Marcus Forss has been selected in the Finland Under-19 squad for two games against Georgia next month. Kimmo Lipponen’s side head to the Caucasus in a fortnight's time before facing their hosts in Tbilisi on Sunday 8 and Tuesday 10 October.
Marcus joined Brentford B in the summer from West Bromwich Albion and currently leads the scoring charts for Kevin O'Connor's side. The tall striker netted four in the 6-0 win over Benfica in July and also struck in the games against Everton, Legia Warsaw, and Hertha Berlin II to take his tally to seven in 12 games this campaign.
Marcus has been a regular for Finland at youth international level. He played all three games in the Baltic Cup last June, scoring three goals, and added three more caps to his tally last month as Finland hosted Portugal, Belgium, and Holland in a Four Nations tournament. In total, Marcus has played 12 games for his country, scoring six goals.
