2 September 2017

A host of stars from the world of football, music and entertainment will come together today for a football match at QPR’s Loftus Road in aid of those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire disaster.

The two teams, managed by former England strikers Les Ferdinand and Alan Shearer, will see a number of famous ex-pros (David Seaman, Jamie Redknapp, Trevor Sinclair, Stan Collymore & more), musicians (Olly Murs, Marcus Mumford, Wretch 32, Tinie Tempah & more) and famous faces from the entertainment industry (Damian Lewis, Jamie Dornan, Jack Whitehall, Ben Shephard & more) take to the field in what promises to be a day to remember for the West London community.

Sky are broadcasting the match (Sky 1 & Freeview channel) as proceedings kick off at 2pm with a special pre-match show. Tickets will be made available for free for victims and those within the wider community.

All proceeds raised are being passed directly to the London Community Foundation for allocation to the Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund, distributing funds to survivors and the wider community affected by the fire.
