Florian picks up another Fanscore award with Fuller's

Winger's two assists seek him pick up Man of the Match prize

29 October 2017

Another key performance from Florian Jozefzoon saw him pick up the Fanscore Man of the Match award with Fuller's from Saturday's 3-2 win over Preston North End.

The winger had a hand in two of the three goals as Dean Smith's side left Deepdale with the points. It was the rebound from Florian's shot which Nico Yennaris headed home for the opener. Following Sean Maguire's leveller, Josh Clarke's low cross in eventually found its way to Romaine Sawyers to fire Brentford back into the lead.

Tom Barkhuizen levelled but again Jozefzoon had the skills unlock the North End backline as he flashed in a low ball for Ollie Watkins to score the winner. Florian's performance earned him more than 50 per cent of the vote with Ollie Watkins and Nico Yennaris tied in second place.

Amongst the fans, David Daniels came from well back to win the October monthly league after scoring 493 points this week, helped in no small part by a 350 point bonus being within 10 seconds of the Golden Goal time. IrishBees end the month in second place after a 471 point week with Joea97 in third.

Mark Allerton retains a 380 point lead at the top of the season-long lead from Henry Ivey in second and Sean Ridley in third.
