Premier League referee in charge this weekend

11 October 2017

Referee: Lee Probert

Assistant RefereesDerek Eaton and Akil Howson

Despite being one of the most recognisable referees on the circuit for the best part of a decade, Lee Probert has only taken charge of The Bees on two previous occasions. His first game was a 2-2 draw with Huddersfield in 2006 and three years later he took charge of our 3-1 defeat at Dagenham and Redbridge.

Probert joined the National List in 2003 and was appointed to the Select Group of Premier League Referees for the 2007-08 season. He was the Fourth Official for the 2011 FA Cup Final before taking charge of the 2014 Final between Arsenal and Hull City.

So far this season, Probert has shown 12 yellows and two red in seven games.
