Work is continuing on the installation of a new perimeter advertising system at Brentford FC. It was announced earlier this year that LED advertising would be coming to Griffin Park thanks to a partnership with digital venue specialists ADI. The first works to install the hoardings began last week and everything will be in place before the match against Millwall next Saturday, 14 October.
The old advertising boards have been removed and a lot of the groundworks for the new digital display has been finished. A dummy hoarding has been delivered to allow the Club’s contractor to ensure everything is correctly positioned and this can be seen in the collection of pictures of the development on this page. The new boards will be delivered to Griffin Park next week and the system should be up and running for testing a few days before Millwall visit.
The new perimeter system will be installed on three sides of the ground – Braemar Road, Ealing Road and Brook Road – and comes with crowd-facing display. The system will enable large brands to deliver their message to the millions of fans watching in the UK and throughout the world and the integrated crowd-facing display makes it possible for local and regional businesses to affordably reach those in the stands. The system has already enabled the Club to grow its partnership stable to 14 with Title Partner LeoVegas, alongside the Club’s other partners, set to feature prominently on the new advertising platform.
The Club will be contacting fans that sit in the Braemar Road Paddock directly over the coming week to share more information about the new system.
