Yesterday’s international action saw mixed results for two Brentford B attackers but neither was selected to play a part. Marcus Forss and Theo Archibald were both away with their international sides for games played yesterday, Tuesday 10 October. Finland’s Under-19 side lost and Scotland’s Under-21 side won but neither Marcus or Theo was selected in the matchday squad
Scotland Under-21 picked up an important 2-0 win in Latvia yesterday. They scored two goals in the first half and that was enough to get them the points. Theo was selected to travel to Latvia but did not make the final matchday squad.
Meanwhile, Finland’s Under-19 side were beaten by Georgia for the second time in a week. They were in Georgia for back-to-back friendlies but followed up a 2-1 defeat with a second loss yesterday, this time 2-0. Georgia scored two goals in the first 25 minutes and that was enough to get the win. Marcus was not selected.
