After a draw with Exeter City, Brentford B are straight back in to action this weekend as they begin a run of four games in 11 days in two countries. The B Team have played 14 matches this season against opponents from the UK and abroad. They have picked up mainly positive results against teams including Dulwich Hamlet and Benfica B and their next match will be against Manchester City on Saturday, October 14.
Kevin O’Connor’s side will travel north for the match, which will be a morning kick-off and will be behind closed doors. They will be looking for their tenth win of the season after the game against Exeter on Tuesday ended 0-0, their first draw of the campaign. The Bees have lost just four of 14 games this term and have beaten teams including Legia Warsaw, Everton and AFC Bournemouth.
That trip to Manchester City will be following by the fourth foreign trip of the season. The Bees will fly out to Northern Italy next Tuesday, 17 October, and will then face a team from Atalanta Bergamasco Calcio the following day. They will then head East to base themselves in Milan for the second half of the trip. On Saturday 21 October, they will face Internazionale Milano before a clash with Associazone Calcio Milan on Wednesday 25 October. Full details of the B Team fixture list can be seen here.
