Yoann Barbet's goal and assist from Saturday's 3-1 win over Leeds United has seen him named in the EFL Team of the Week for the second time this campaign.
Yoann returned to the starting line-up at left-back and had a hand in The Bees opener as his cross was spilt by visiting goalkeeper Andy Lonergan, allowing Neal Maupay to nod home from close range. Leeds equalised in similar fashion after the break as Ezgjan Alioski took full advantage of a Daniel Bentley error but Yoann was there to restore Brentford's advantage with a low free-kick five minutes from time. It was then left to Ryan Woods to guide home his first of the season and wrap up the points.

The EFL Team of the Week, published on the EFL website, is drawn from the performances over the previous weekend's action across all Sky Bet EFL divisions. Yoann is the fourth Brentford player to be recognised this season, and first to be included more than once. Previous Teams of the Week this season have seen Josh Clarke, Daniel Bentley, and Florian Jozefzoon make the selection after their performances against Queens Park Rangers, Millwall, and Sunderland respectively while Yoann was previously included after his display against Bolton Wanderers. .
