Sky visit as Bees prepare for Leeds

Brentford feature ahead of televised clash tomorrow

3 November 2017

As Brentford prepare for their first televised game of the 2017/18 season, Sky Sports News were welcomed to the Club's Jersey Road Training Ground. The Bees face Leeds United tomorrow, Saturday 4 November, in a match being televised live by Sky Sports. The game will kick-off at 5.30pm at Griffin Park and be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.

As part of Sky's build-up to the game they were at the Training Ground earlier this week. Interviews were conducted with Co-Director of Football Phil Giles, Head Coach Dean Smith and midfield player Ryan Woods. They spoke about the season so far and the way the Club is looking to develop players. There were also questions on Dean being the fourth longest-serving boss in the division.

Clips from the interviews will run on Sky Sports News over the coming day and a written feature has been prepared. This piece, which also shows excerpts of the interviews can be seen here.
