Young people take part in the guard of honour for Kick It Out

Be Inspired group help highlight work of equality and inclusion organisation

9 November 2017

11 young people took part in the Guard of Honour and the half-time penalty shoot-out at the Millwall match on Saturday 14 October. The participants, who benefit from the Trust’s Be Inspired Project, highlighted the work of Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion organisation.

Since 1993, Kick It Out has worked throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination, celebrate diversity and inclusion, and campaign for positive change.

The ‘Be Inspired’ project, which is funded by Children in Need, offers free football and multi-sports sessions for young people who live in west London. If you would like more information about this project, please contact Tomas Abreu on 020 8326 7030 or at
