Andreas helps Denmark to World Cup Play-Off draw

Danes draw 0-0 at home to Republic of Ireland

12 November 2017

It's all to play for back in Dublin on Tuesday after the first-leg of Denmark's World Cup Play-Off against the Republic of Ireland ended in a 0-0 draw.

Andreas Bjelland played the full 90 minutes, earning his 27th cap, as the two sides couldn't be separated at Telia Parken. The Danes had the better of the chances but Middlesbrough's Darren Randolph made a string of fine saves to ensure that the two sides head back to The Aviva Stadium on Tuesday night level.
