Brentford B will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they continue their run of three games in a week. Kevin O’Connor’s side were beaten by Swansea City on Tuesday afternoon in South Wales. Goals from a trialist and Marcus Forss were not enough to prevent a heavy defeat. The young side will be looking to put that right when they face two more games in the coming days.
Brentford B host a side from AFC Bournemouth next Saturday, 25 November. That game will be played at Brentford’s Jersey Road Training Ground and will kick-off at 1pm. Full details on whether the game is open to supporters will be confirmed in the next 24 hours. There will then be another fixture next Tuesday, 28 November.
Kevin O’Connor’s side will be looking to extend their fine run of form this season. Brentford B have won 13 of 20 games this term and have lost only five. The Bees have picked up mainly positive results against teams from the UK and abroad and have beaten sides including Benfica B, Chelsea, Everton and Legia Warsaw as well as Italian giants Internazionale Milano and Associazone Calcio Milan.
The defeat against Swansea was the first since the start of October. That included two wins over the Milan clubs as part of a trip to Italy that also saw Brentford B draw with Atalanta Bergamasco Calcio. It also came after a 5-2 win over a Manchester City side. Games against Barnet and Wolverhampton Wanderers, as well as a rematch against Manchester City, are also on the horizon. A full list of fixtures and results can be seen here.
