Brentford B will begin a run of three games in a week on Tuesday, all against Premier League opposition. Kevin O’Connor’s side returned to action last Tuesday, 14 November, with a 3-1 win against Reading, adding the Berkshire side to an impressive list of victories this season. They now face games against Swansea City, AFC Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town in the coming days.
The first game on agenda will be on Tuesday, 21 November. Brentford B travel to South Wales to take on a team from Swansea City. Then they will host a side from AFC Bournemouth next Saturday, 25 November. That game will be played at Brentford’s Jersey Road Training Ground. The last of the three fixtures will be away to Huddersfield Town next Tuesday, 28 November. Further details on all games will follow in due course.
Kevin O’Connor’s side will be looking to extend their fine run of form this season. Brentford B have won 13 of 19 games this term and have lost only four. The Bees have picked up mainly positive results against teams from the UK and abroad and have beaten sides including Benfica B, Chelsea, Everton and Legia Warsaw. Their recent run is even more impressive with victories in Italy against Internazionale Milano and Associazone Calcio Milan preceding the Reading win which means Brentford B have won their last three.
Those two wins came as part of a trip to Italy that also saw Brentford B draw with Atalanta Bergamasco Calcio. It also came after a 5-2 win over a Manchester City side. Games against Barnet and Wolverhampton Wanderers, as well as a rematch against Manchester City, are also on the horizon. A full list of fixtures and results can be seen here.
