Defeat for Emmanuel Onariase and Cheltenham Town last night
Emmanuel Onariase played the full game last night for Cheltenham Town, meaning he still hasn’t missed a minute for Gary Johnson’s side since joining in January, as they were beaten 3-0 away at promotion chasing Exeter City in Sky Bet League Two.
Reuben Reid scored either side of the break for The Grecians, the first from the penalty spot, and Jake Taylor added a third late on with a deflected shot to secure the win for Paul Tisdale’s side. The defeat saw The Robins drop to 22nd in the table but they still hold a seven-point cushion over the bottom two ahead of Saturday’s game at home to Cambridge United.
Last night’s appearance was Manny’s 16th since heading to the West Country on a half-season loan at the beginning of 2017 as The Robins seek to preserve their EFL status.
