Lasse Vibe and Andreas Bjelland watch on as Danes held to 0-0 draw in Cluj
The Brentford duo of Lasse Vibe and Andreas Bjelland watched on from the bench as Denmark and Romania played out a 0-0 draw in Cluj which does little for either's chance of automatic qualification for next summer's World Cup. The Danes dominated the game but were wasteful in front of goal: Christian Eriksen coming closest with a late free-kick that whistled narrowly wide.
The point leaves Denmark level on points with Montenegro in second place in Group E but both teams are six points behind early pace-setters Poland. Denmark's next qualifying action sees them head to Kazakhstan in June for a game against Group E's bottom side before hosting Poland in September.
Andreas was hoping to win his 24th cap for his nation last night while Lasse has represented Denmark ten times, scoring once, previously.
