Defender will head to Romania for FIFA World Cup Qualifier
Andreas Bjelland has been called up to the Denmark squad for their next 2018 World Cup Qualifier against Romania. Åge Hareide's side travel to Cluj on Sunday 26 March to take on a Romanian team that have only won one of their last five matches. The Danes are currently third in Group E, two wins and two defeats the story of their campaign so far.
28-year-old Andreas will be hoping to add to his 23 caps for his country, having played a role in their last two matches. He got the full 90 minutes in Denmark's 4-1 win over Kazakhstan on 11 November before playing the first half of their 1-1 draw with Czech Republic four days later.
The commanding centre-back joins up with only two other players from English clubs; Kasper Schmeichel of Leicester City and Christian Eriksen of Tottenham Hotspur.
