Romaine Sawyers has been included in the St Kitts and Nevis squad as they face two tough trips to Eastern Europe in the next week to take on Armenia and Georgia.
The Caribbean Islanders will face Armenia, who sit 21 places above them in the FIFA World Rankings, this Sunday, 4 June, at the Republican Stadium in Yerevan, kick-off 5pm UK Time. They then move on to Tbilisi to take on Georgia at the Boris Paichadze Stadium on Wednesday 7 June, again a 5pm kick-off.
Romaine has earned 19 caps for his nation, scoring four goals, since making his debut in 2012. The 25-year-old enjoyed an impressive end to his debut season in the second-tier with Brentford following his summer move from Walsall. In total the attacking midfielder scored three goals in 45 games as The Bees registered a third consecutive top ten finish in the second tier.
Romaine is one of five Brentford players on international duty this month with Lasse Vibe, Andreas Bjelland, and Henrik Dalsgaard away with Denmark while John Egan is currently in New York for the Republic of Ireland's game with Mexico. Three B Team players are also away with Ellery Balcombe and Chris Mepham taking part in the Toulon Tournament for England and Wales respectively and Lukas Talbro included in the Denmark Under-18 squad.
