Manny Onariase said he is only focussed on progressing to the next level after signing a new two-year deal at Griffin Park.
The 20-year-old, who was out of contract this summer, agreed a new deal earlier this week to remain at Griffin Park until 2019. Manny believes that these extra two years give him a great chance to progress as a player.
“I am delighted,” said Manny, speaking to iFollow about his new deal. “The club has given me a platform and an opportunity to progress and I am really happy about that. Everything for me is about getting to the next level. Wherever I am, if it’s out on loan, with the B Team, or with the first-team, it’s about progressing as a player. Whether it’s my range of passing or getting to the next level as a person and as a player the aim is to go all the way with this club.”
The former West Ham youngster spent the second-half of last season out on loan at Sky Bet League Two side Cheltenham Town. Manny said it was great to experience first-team football, something that he would be happy to do again.
“I just want to play and going out on loan is ideal for me,” said Manny. “I am keen to play and going out on loan will give me that chance. It will give me more experience and help me to come back and fight for my place in the team.”
