Lukas Talbro earned his second cap for Denmark Under-18 yesterday. The Brentford B defender played 90 minutes for his country against Greece in a friendly. Greece won the match 1-0 with a first half goal. Lukas made his Under-18 debut earlier this season and also has two Under-16 caps to his credit. He will be hoping to add to that tally when the teams meet again on Sunday.
At the Toulon Tournament, Ellery Balcombe was an unused substitute as England won again to reach the final. Ellery, 17, is part of the England squad for the tournament and has played one match so far. He was on the bench as England beat Scotland 3-0 in the semi-finals. They will now face Ivory Coast in the final tomorrow. If Ellery plays it will be his second cap at Under-20 level to go with three he has at Under-18 level.
There is further international action on the agenda for Brentford players over the next few days. As well as matches for Ellery and Lukas, there are also upcoming World Cup qualifiers for Republic of Ireland, who have John Egan in their squad, and Denmark, who could use Andreas Bjelland, Henrik Dalsgaard and Lasse Vibe.
