B Team pre-season preview

O'Connor's side off to Hungary for training camp

21 June 2017

Brentford B will be returning to pre-season training this week. The young side will be entering their second season and will start pre-season training ahead of the First Team. Head Coach Kevin O’Connor and his players will return to Jersey Road for the start of the campaign on Friday, 23 June, ahead of a planned training camp and friendly fixtures.

There have been changes to the B Team squad over the close season as Dimi Kyriatzis, Dom Kurasik, Danny Parish, Seika Jatta, Luke Dunn, Kyjuon Marsh-Brown and Marc Río have left the Club. Late last season saw the arrival of Joe Hardy, from Manchester City, and Theo Archibald, from Celtic, and there will be additions to the squad before the start of the campaign. Two players – Jan Holldack and Emmanuel Onariase – were out of contract at the end of last term and they have been offered new deals.

Brentford B will be heading to Hungary this summer for a pre-season training camp. The squad will be away at the same time as the First Team – Saturday July 8 to Saturday July 15 – and there will be full coverage of the trip on brentfordfc.com.
