Bradley Clayton sat down with iFollow yesterday to talk about his progress as a Brentford B player. Missing some of last season through injury, Bradley started off by explaining how frustrating it was to miss the games.

"It's the worst feeling," said Bradley. "You want to be out on the pitch playing, and you see your teammates doing as well as they did, ultimately you want to be involved in that and giving an input. You just can't when you're injured so that was very frustrating.

"You still feel them, you can't really get rid of old niggles but I am back playing."

Looking back at the 2016/17 campaign, Bradley reflected on his year from an individual perspective as well as from his team's point of view.

"I was out for a long period of last season so, when I played it was okay but I didn't have the impact I wanted to.

"I thought it was a very successful first year, in terms of the games that we played and the results we got in those games. You see players going up to the First Team and making debuts so it was a very successful first year."

Bradley just returned from Hungary with his teammates, where the B Team won their first two games of pre-season.

"There always good, pre-season tours, one to get used to the new boys and they can get used to us. We can gel as a squad and get on the same page for the season ahead.

"The aim is to go as far as possible, impact the B Team first and then have an impact on the First Team."
