B Team defender leaves Brentford
Nathan Fox has left Brentford after a mutual agreement was reached for the termination of his contract. The 20-year-old Brentford B defender had four months left to run on his contract and had been with the Club for just over a year. He is now free to find another club.
Nathan signed for Brentford last January after a successful trial. He agreed an 18-month contract and became part of the new Brentford B squad last summer. The defender came through the youth ranks at Norwich City and had been with Cray Wanderers on a non-contract basis before joining Brentford. He was also on the books of hometown club Chelmsford City as a youngster and played Concord Rangers as well as having a loan spell at Margate this season.
Robert Rowan, Head of Football Operations at Brentford FC, said: “Things haven’t really worked out the way both parties would have liked for Nathan at Brentford. Therefore, it was in Nathan’s best interests to seek a career somewhere else. On behalf of all the staff, I would like to wish him all the best with his next challenge and career.”
