Youngsters score away from Griffin Park
Defender Manny Onariase scored his first professional in Cheltenham Town's League Two match against Notts County on Saturday. The 20-year-old opened his account in the 87th minute of time, knocking the ball home from close range after it had been squared by Dan Holman. The goal wasn't enough to stop County running out 2-1 winners, leaving The Robins just three points above the relegation zone.
In Germany, SV Wuppertaler won 5-1 in the Regionalliga West. Jan Holldack scored the second goal after 29 minutes and played the entire game for The Lions. Stefan Vollmerhausen's side were helped slightly when midfielder Kaan Akca was sent off with an hour gone. The win lifted Wuppertaler to seventh, but they are still 15 points off pace-setters Borussia Monchengladbach II at the top of the table.
Elsewhere in Germany, Andy Gogia was once again missing through injury as Dynamo Dresden lost 2-0 away at FC St. Pauli. Choi Kyoung-Rok opened the scoring in the 28th minute before Cenk Sahin added a second in the second half. The defeat dropped Dresden into sixth but they remain four points off the top three in 2. Budesliga.
