Look back at three memorbale wins over The Seagulls

Ahead of Sunday's match we have taken a trip down memory lane to look at three of our most recent wins over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Brentford 4 Brighton and Hove Albion 0 - 24 January 2002

On the back of five straight defeats, the visit of table-topping Brighton to Griffin Park, live on ITVSport, didn't promise much cheer for Bees fans. However, The Seagulls were blown away by a rampant Bees side who led 2-0 at the break thanks to goals from Ivar Ingimarsson and Ben Burgess. Big Ben then added a stunning third, controlling and volleying home from the edge of the box, before Steve Sidwell put the gloss on the win with a fourth late on.

Brentford 3 Brighton and Hove Albion 2 - 13 September 2014

We secured a first home win in the second tier since 1993 after an enthralling encounter against The Seagulls. Moses Odubajo and Andre Gray fired Mark Warburton's side into an early lead only for Gordon Greer to halve the deficit just before the break. Jonathon Douglas added a third five minutes after the break but again Brighton hit back through Danny Holla's long-range stunner to set up a nervous end. However, Sami Hyypia's side couldn't find a way through as we got up and running at home for the season.

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Brentford 0 - 17 January 2015

On our first ever visit to Brighton's new AMEX Stadium an Andre Gray goal was enough to secure the three points and do the double over The Seagulls. The striker's first-half deflected effort proved the difference between the two sides as Chris Hughton's team ended the match with ten men after Lewis Dunk's dismissal on the hour.
