The voice of Brentford speaks about how the actions of 1967 inspired him to get involved with the club
This year commemorates the 50th anniversary of one of the most turbulent periods in the history of Brentford FC as QPR sought to take over Griffin Park and leave The Bees homeless. The news stunned the footballing world but it didn't take long for fans, players, and staff to come together to fight off the proposed takeover. As part of our look back at the events of the time, Peter Gilham, matchday announcer and Player Liason Officer, speaks about why those events inspired him to get involved with the club.
