Reece Cole speaks about City draw

B Team midfielder talks to iFollow after 2-2 draw against Manchester City

23 December 2017

After this week's 2-2 draw with Manchester City, Reece Cole spoke to iFollow about the match and his return to fitness.

Q: Right up to the end of that match, you looked like you would win it. What did you make of it?

A: Yeah, I think in the last ten minutes we were a bit of shambles at the back and we felt the decisions from the referee weren’t great, but we’ve got to react to that.

Q: Kevin O’Connor told us that for most of the game the team did exactly what he had asked you to do. Do you think the team performed quite well out there?

A: It was good. I think you saw against Wolves the other day, we didn’t keep the ball as much as we did today. We had more possession and were passing it around like we used to. It was good to have some old faces back in the team so yes it was good today.

Q: How good was it to be playing football with Zain Westbrooke in the middle again?

A: It is great. We’ve always had that partnership right back from under-16s football so it’s been good to play with him again.

Q: For you, coming back from injury must be about getting in as many minutes as possible now?

A: It is. That’s 70 in the bank today so hopefully after Christmas I can get a couple more games and see what happens from there.
