Nico Yennaris speaks to Sky ahead of Villa clash

Feature interview with Sky ahead of televised Boxing Day match

26 December 2017

As Brentford prepared for the Christmas period, long-serving Nico Yennaris spoke to Sky about his career so far. The Bees entertain Aston Villa tonight, Boxing Day, in a match televised live by Sky Sports. And as part of the build-up to the fixture, Sky sat down with Nico to discuss a range of topics.

Nico has been with The Bees for almost four years and has played more Brentford games than anyone else still on the Club's books. He reflects on his time with The Bees as well as how he arrived at Griffin Park. He speaks about starting at Arsenal and time out on loan at Wycombe Wanderers as well as his current role in the team.

Nico has spent most of the past two seasons playing in the centre of midfield but filled in at right back in the win at Norwich City last Friday. He also captained The Bees in the absence of John Egan. The full interview can be seen here.

There's nothing quite like football on Boxing Day. And there's nothing like going to football on Boxing Day. Tickets are still available for this evening's match and prices rise at 10am. Get your tickets from £25 adults and £8 Juniors. Buy online here now.
