Loan Round-Up: Carlisle's cup replay called off

No action for our loan players this midweek

13 December 2017

Carlisle United and Gillingham will have to wait a bit longer to see who will go on to host Sheffield Wednesday in the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup after last night's Second Round replay was postponed due to the cold weather.

Overnight temperatures of -11 in Cumbria on Monday meant that the Brunton Park pitch was frozen solid and the decision was taken to postpone the match before The Gills began the 664 mile round-trip to the North-West . A new date will be confirmed in the coming days.

Jack would have been the only Brentford player in action this midweek but there is a round of fixtures for our loan players this weekend as Carlisle host Port Vale, Zain Westbrooke's Leyton Orient travel to Haringey Borough in the FA Trophy, and Tom Field and Bradford City head to Southend United. Meanwhile in Germany, DSC Arminia Bielefeld play their final game ahead of the winter break at SSV Jahn Regensburg.
