Brentford B will be looking to bounce back to winning ways as they begin their run in to Christmas. Kevin O’Connor’s side suffered three defeats in a week as they were beaten by Premier League sides Swansea City, Huddersfield Town and AFC Bournemouth. And they will be looking to end 2017 on a high as they face three more games before the end of the year.
The first of those three games is on Tuesday, 5 December, when Kevin O’Connor’s side head to North London to take on Barnet. That will be followed later this month with back-to-back home games. Firstly, Wolverhampton Wanderers will come to West London on Thursday 14 December, followed by the final game of the year against Manchester City on Tuesday 19 December.
Those games will give Brentford B a chance to extend their fine run of form this season. Kevin O’Connor’s men have won 14 of 22 games this term and have lost only six. The Bees have picked up mainly positive results against teams from the UK and abroad and have beaten sides including Benfica B, Chelsea, Everton and Legia Warsaw as well as Italian giants Internazionale Milano and Associazone Calcio Milan.
The defeats last week were the first since the start of October. That included two wins over the Milan clubs as part of a trip to Italy that also saw Brentford B draw with Atalanta Bergamasco Calcio. It also came after a 5-2 win over a Manchester City side. A full list of fixtures and results can be seen here. More details on individual matches will follow in due course.
