Mads Bech Sørensen feels that Brentford is the place for him having put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Club. The 18-year-old defender completed a medical yesterday, Monday 31 July, and will join up with Brentford B ahead of fixtures against Under-23 teams from Southampton and Everton.
Speaking to brentfordfc.com, Mads said: “It’s amazing to be here – the Club is a great place for me and I’m very excited.
"It was a great feeling (to learn of Brentford’s interest). There’s lots of Danish players here already and it’ll make it a lot easier for me to settle in. I’m looking forward to training tomorrow and the challenge ahead”.
Mads, who won promotion with Horsens in 2015/16 before featuring on ten games occasions the following season, says that his previous first-team experience could prove vital over the coming months.
“I’ve played with the First Team for two and half years back in Denmark. It was an amazing feeling to gain promotion last year and I think that the experience will help me a lot as there’s more pace in senior football.
“I’m delighted with the faith that Brentford have shown in me and I can’t wait to get started”.
