Oliver Langford appointed for trip to Portman Road

Match officials confirmed for Saturday's fixture against Ipswich Town

Oliver is one of the longest-serving EFL referees as he enters his 11th season on the match officials list. 

His first match in charge of The Bees was an eventful one as he sent off both Barry Fuller and Nathan Elder during a 1-1 draw against Gillingham in December 2008. Since then he has refereed a further dozen Brentford matches and last season officiated our home games against Reading, Norwich City, and Huddersfield Town. 

So far this season he has shown six yellow cards in three matches across the Sky Bet Championship, Carabao Cup, and League One.
