Brentford B centre-back Chris Mepham has been called up to the Wales Under-21 squad. The 19-year-old will meet up with the team on Monday, ahead of two UEFA Under-21 Championship Qualifiers at the start of September.
Robert Page's Welsh side travel to Biel for their first match against Switzerland on Friday 1 September, then fly to Porto for a game with Portugal on Tuesday 5 September.
Qualifying for the 2019 UEFA Under-21 Championship began earlier this year, across nine different groups. Wales are in Group 8 with Switzerland and Portugal, who are joined also by Romania, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Liechtenstein.
The top team from each group qualify automatically for the Championship hosted by Italy in two years' time. Four of the best runners-up will enter a play-off to determine the final two teams that will compete in the 12-team competition.
